Gender issues
We employ equal numbers of female and male junior group leaders. The women of the department are actively participating in a variety of Gender support programs currently being organized by:
- LMU-Mentoring
- Gleichstellung in Forschung und Lehre
- SyNergy- SyNergy Munich Gender support program
This network of different gender support programs offers unique support for all needs of female researchers. Additionally, the female senior scientist of the department offer mentoring for younger female scientists to facilitate the pursue of a successful career in science.
