Christian Haass among the “most cited brains” in his field

Laborjournal; Neuroscientist ranking

Professor Christian Haass is among the best in his field. Monthly the german science magazine “Laborjournal” (www.laborjournal.de) ranks the 50 most-cited researchers from a specific research area working in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The subject this time is non-clinical neuroscience, and Professor Christian Haass  is fourth in the list of the 50 “most highly cited brains” – as he was in the last neuroscience ranking in 2006.
Also, two of the ten most cited scientific articles in this field come from his laboratory:
  • Edbauer D, Winkler E, Regula JT, Pesold B, Steiner H, Haass C. (2003)
    Reconstitution of gamma-secretase activity.
Nat Cell Biol. 2003 May;5(5):486-8. [PubMed Abstract]
  • Ehehalt R, Keller P, Haass C, Thiele C, Simons K. (2003)
Amyloidogenic processing of the Alzheimer beta-amyloid precursor protein depends on lipid rafts.
J Cell Biol. 2003 Jan 6;160(1):113-23. [PubMed Abstract]
