Luca Scorrano – guest speaker of the SFB 596 graduate program seminar series

We were very glad to welcome Prof. Dr Luca Scorrano from the University of Geneva Medical School and Venetian Institute of Molecular Medicine as guest speaker in our seminar series. After individual discussions with scientists of our institute and the Helmholtz Zentrum Munich Luca Scorrano gave a very interesting and fascinating talk entitled “Keeping Mitochondria and ER in shape: a matter of life and death” addressing basic knowledge as well as recent findings. Afterwards the PhD students continued discussion and shortly presented their work to Prof. Dr Luca Scorrano.
