Clinicians of the Departments of Neurology, Radiology, Neuropathology, and Psychiatry of the LMU and TUM meet regularly with cell biologists working in the field of neurodegeneration. Patients, clinical technologies for diagnosis as well as therapeutic attempts are presented by the clinicians, whereas the cell biologists present the molecular mechanisms of the corresponding neurodegenerative disorder currently discussed. PIs, postdocs and PhD students are welcome.

The Eibsee Meeting is the most important conference on neurodegeneration held in Germany, and attracts outstanding researchers from all over the world. A highlight of the event is the presentation of the Alzheimer Research Award, the most valuable German award in this field, which is funded by the Hans and Ilse Breuer Foundation.

This small but very intense meetings brings together scientists from all over the world in a selected topic. In addition workshops will be arranged which are devoted to most important fields in neurotoxicity.
